Understanding Fabrics In this section, you will learn about fabric characteristics, fiber content, availability on certain styles, and cleaning instruc- tions. It will have important details and codes that are explained in this section. About Leathers There are several things to consider when shopping for leather. The purchase of leather furniture can be made easier with some basic knowledge about the different types, the char- acteristics and how to care for it, which are addressed in the following pages. Non-Reversible Cushions Seat cushions on styles ordered in leather, vinyl and bonded leather are not reversible. The special bottom fabric covering allows cushions to breathe. A fastener tape, similar to Velcro ® , is sewn on the bottom of each leather, vinyl and bonded leather cushion. When choosing a fabric or leather, there are things you should consider.
