Surface marks document the animal’s life and testify to the leather’s authenticity. Every hide accepts dye different. Cleaning Code C WAXED • Rugged • Waxed • Color variation • Natural markings very apparent • Antique in appearance • Will age gracefully Otherwise known as distressed leather, waxed leather ages beautifully and devel- ops a soft patina over time. Cleaning Code D PROTECTED • Uniform in color & texture • Durable • Less likely to fade • Easy care • Great for families This semi-aniline leather has a pigmented finish applied to the surface for protection from stains and consistency of color. The natural grain is still evident. Cleaning Code C L eather S eams Leather hides are only so large and it normally requires more than one hide to upholster your furniture. It is typical to see seams on the outside back, arms, back pillows and seat cushions. This is not stated on every group available in leather in this catalog, nor are seams always visible on the website view of leather on a style. It’s important that you make your customer aware of these seams.
