She takes the legendary Jimmy Lyons Stage at 1:30 pm on Saturday. LEDISI Raised in Oakland, Ledisi has pushed the envelope for her entire career. Fusing funk and contemporary jazz into her own brand of fresh and inventive music. She is redefining R&B music in the 21st century and names Curtis Mayfield and Nina Simone as major influences.
