Community members donate gently used items to the store, and net proceeds from items sold fund %merican Cancer 7ociety research, advocacy and patient support programs. The boutiUue’s generosity e\tends beyond financial giving. ;hen the store receives items it can’t sell, the team distributes them to area nonprof its. There’s a rewards program for freUuent shoppers, and customers looOing for something specific can Noin the store wish list°a volunteer will call if that item comes through the doors. ±;e liOe to maOe sure customers are seen and heard,² Cuevas says. ±;hen they’re here, we Nust show Noy and gratitude and thanO them for choosing us.² The Discovery Shop is located in the Country Club Gate Center in Pacific Grove.
