Seven awards were given for hospitality, lifetime achieve- ment and humanitarian service.The awards are named after John “Spud” Spadaro who passed away 13 years ago at the age of 49.The event continues to recognize people who exhibit Spadaro’s exemplary traits. Proceeds fund scholarships for hospitality students in Monterey County.
