As of January, KSBW news anchor Erin Clark has been on our television screens for 26 years. She landed the job after falling in love with Carmel. “The weather was perfect—no fog—and Carmel Beach was as beautiful a beach as I had ever seen, and for a girl who was contemplating another Northeast winter, that made a lasting impression. It took another couple of years before the stars aligned and we could Qake the QoZe Fut it finally hap - pened,” Clark says. Both of her children went to Carmel schools while Clark became a trusted and beloved anchor alongside “work husband” Dan Green. “The truth is we probably have spent more time with each other than we have with our respective spouses, so it really is a partnership built on a lot of mutual respect. Green is the consummate broadcaster and I’ve learned a ton from him but more importantly he is a good friend who always has my back.” Clark says she never gets tired of her work. “I’m incredibly lucky. My job is a ton of fun. I get to meet interesting people. I get to do interesting things and tell great stories, and I work with great people.” And for that, we, her viewing audience, are grateful.
