F or nearly 90 years, Carmel Post 512 of the American Legion has dedicated itself to serving the needs of veterans, their families, our nation, and the Carmel community. Since our humble begin- nings in 1926 as the Manzanita Athletic and Social Club, and through our essential role as a USO dur- ing World War II, we have upheld a proud legacy of service and support. These enduring values stand as the pillars of the American Legion and guide all that we do. 5th Annual Charity Golf Tournament Invita- tion: We are delighted to invite you to participate in our 5th Annual Charity Golf Tournament. This year’s tournament will be held on Friday, April 17, 2026. Bringing together golf enthusiasts and community supporters, this special event is dedicated to a cause close to our hearts: supporting our veterans. These include veteran initiatives, Carmel Youth Baseball, service dogs for disabled veterans, scholar- ships, local veterans housing projects, and the reno- vation of Post 512—ensuring another century of dedicated service to those who need it most.
