Classic inn rooms have similarly cozy McRoskey beds, indoor and outdoor seating with bay views, and amenities like complimenta- ry newspaper delivery and binoculars for spot- ting sea life. Guests chat about their trip high- lights during a daily sunset wine and cheese reception. Complimentary continental breakfast is available via room delivery or buffet style in the property’s drawing room. Concierge staff can arrange in-room massage services, and a free adventure map—available online or on-site—lists popular local trails and overlooks. Just outside The Inn Above Tide lobby, waterfront paths lead to attractions across Sausalito. North of downtown, Fjord offers an immer- sive floating sauna and cold plunge experience on the San Francisco Bay. Guests relax in one of two Finnish-style saunas fashioned from ship- ping containers and set upon a repurposed barge. Each has a wooden sun deck and a wall- sized window looking out at the surrounding marina, Angel Island and beyond. Changing rooms are tucked into a revamped pontoon with curtains crafted from reclaimed sails and historic photos celebrating Sausalito’s house- boat culture.
