Spring 2026

Musicians from some of the world’s most notable bands come together to raise funds for charity as BANC. See them at Mission Ranch on March 4. 66 C A R M E L M A G A Z I N E • S P R I N G 2 0 2 6 O n March 4, 14 top-tier rock musicians of The Benevolent Artists National Charity (BANC) will take the stage at Carmel’s Mission Ranch in a fundraiser to benefit the Eastwood Ranch Foundation. BANC was founded by rock star bassist Rudy Sarzo (Quiet Riot, Ozzy Osbourne, Whitesnake, among many others) and Calgary-based philanthropist J.C. Carter. The pair met when Sarzo was auditioning sing- ers and Carter, who had set his musical ambi- tions aside, wanted to get back in the game. It was obvious that in partnership with Sarzo, Carter could fuse his twin passions for music and giving back, and BANC was born. Since its inception, BANC has raised more than $10 million for North American chari- ties such as the Alberta Cancer Foundation, MusicCares, Emmylou Harris’ initiative Bon- aparte’s Retreat, Alice Cooper Solid Rock, and The Stardale Women’s Group. Harris has per- formed with BANC, as have other rock royalty, including Randy Bachman and Tom Cochrane. The Carmel show is the fourth and final of the 2026 schedule. In addition to Sarzo, the Mission Ranch show will feature Rolling Stones backup sing- er Bernard Fowler, Nashville-based guitarist Lindsey Miller, and Beau Jarred (son of folk singer Melanie).
