Our newest addition is Zarafa, a 6-1/2' giraffe, made entirely out of those little rubber sandals that over 30 million people wear in the four continents adjoining the Indian Ocean. Needless to say, millions of them end up littering the ocean and the beaches. Ocean Sole, a non- profit in Kenya, has found the perfect solution to this problem; cleaning up the waterways, employing people and creating colorful, fantastic animals.
