I serve lunch to people at their facility and fill in where needed.” She successfully secures auction items for MOWMP’s annual fundraiser, the Classique Gala (held this year on November 8). She’s been honored with several volunteer awards from the Chamber of Commerce and MOWMP. “Volunteering outside the work environment is a different world, not only are you contributing and supporting this great community we call home but meeting wonderful people who are passionate and share the same goals. It’s a commitment and should be treated as such. Showing up and giving your all is key to these organization’s success.” Does she have any advice for anyone considering volunteering? “There’s always a huge need out there so just say ‘yes.’ Believe me, you’ll be glad you did.” — Michael Chatfield VOLUNTE ER PROF I L E Mary Warbur ton-Boland “
