California State University Monterey Bay (CSUMB) Associate Professor of Marketing Jenny Lin has been named a Fulbright Scholar for the 2022-23 school year. The U.S. State Department program connects participants with U.S. citizenship to opportunities in foreign countries, where they build greater mutual understanding by teaching, conducting research and carrying out professional projects. Lin, who teaches in the CSUMB College of Business, will be hosted by National Chengchi University in Taipei. While in Taiwan, she will research how news and information are presented and inter- preted by media outlets and consumers, and how that shapes audience mindset and con- sumption behaviors. Lin will also teach as a vis- iting professor.
