Fall - 2022

Thanks to fabulous merchandising, committed sales people and loyal customers, Tracy Delaney Odle’s boutiques have been a Carmel fashion mainstay for thirty years. A ugustina’s Designer Boutique, located on San Carlos & Sixth in Carmel, and Augustina Leathers on Ocean Avenue, were originally one store, founded as Augustina’s by current owner Tracy Delaney Odle’s mother and sister. Delaney Odle created her “million-dollar fashion dollhouse” on San Carlos Avenue five years ago, which she formerly ran as a fur store. She says her Ocean Avenue location, which she opened 22 years ago primarily as a fur and leather store, now functions as a “buy now, wear now” shop. The San Carlos boutique features luxury brands in one charming, petite jewel box of a shop. “I cultivated a design matrix that’s impossible to do in this day and age,” Delaney Odle says. “I have Loro Piana, Ralph Lauren, Oscar de la Renta, Etro, Akris, Wandler bags, Jimmy Choo shoes and Sylva & Cie, a contemporary jewelry designer. There are dresses for ladies who lunch, sweaters because we are always cold and super fun shoes.” Some of her employees have been there 20 years or more, and the San Carlos store cele- brates 30 years in business this fall. “We just have a lot of fun here,” Delaney Odle says. “For how high-end we are, we are not that serious… Customers enjoy themselves.” For more information, visit www.augustinasde- signerboutique.com or www.augustinaleathers.com or call 831/624-9901 or 831/624-2403.
