There’s a real science to it.” Grimm launched her candle business this spring, building on the corporate gift box company she and her sister started during the pandemic. The recent MBA graduate sells hand-poured, scented soy candles made with phthalate-free fragrance oils and cotton wicks as well as weighted eye pillows and other items. The collection includes six signature scents, plus seasonal releases ranging from fresh and fruity to earthy and herbal. Grimm recently created special items for =ellow Skate + Surf, a Carmel-based children’s clothing company, and she’s talking with local hotels about crafting custom-branded candles for guests. )ntrepreneurship is a new-but-comfortable chapter for Grimm, who spent 12 years as an Air Force linguist. “-’ve always wanted to start my own business. As a kid, - would even sketch out floor plans for businesses that - created in my mind,” she says. “-’ve discovered that - really love making candles, so this has been a good fit.” For more information about Everhart Candle Co., visit www.everhartcandleco.com or call 831/275-0953.
