A humble and friendly fellow, Anderson is highly grateful to be sharing stages worldwide with the iconic Sir Paul. “He’s such a melody machine. Paul can be just talking, and it sounds like a song, like a Celtic folk song. He’s a lovely guy, and I feel very fortunate to be in that situa- tion.” On a U.S. West Coast tour, The Forest Theater show will be Anderson’s first since recently coming off tour with McCartney. Steve Vagnini has known Anderson for many years.The two met when the guitarist was play- ing in a band with guitarist, singer, and song- writer Parthenon Huxley, who was a high school classmate of his, while his family was liv- ing in Greece. (“Hux,” as he’s known to friends, is headlining the Sunday show.) Opening the Saturday show is Carmel singer- songwriter Cindy Alexander. “The Forest Theater is an enchanting venue, and I look for- ward to once again playing my songs for my neighbors, friends and community,” she says.
