For five Fridays, the lower floor of the shopping center becomes a hot spot for dancing and sampling food and wine from local restaurants, wineries and brewers. “This is a highly anticipated event in the community. People were excited to see it come back last year and that really showed us just how popular it is,” says Jenna Hanson Abramson, who provides marketing and PR for Carmel Plaza. New this year is the highlighting of a local nonprofit. “We know people like to give back to charities. Ten percent of ticket and 100 percent of raffle ticket sales are donated to a designated nonprofit,” she adds.
