That’s remarkable, not only because only four musicians have held that title in the Carmel Bach Festival’s 86-year history, but because 4IHIVWIR MW XLI ½VWX [SQER XS HS WS ±8LMW MW E WMKRM½GERX IZIRX ² WE]W )\IGYXMZI (MVIGXSV 7XIZI *VMIHPERHIV ±% GLERKI MR PIEHIVWLMT MW E [EXIV - WLIH IZIRX JSV ER] TIVJSVQMRK EVXW SVKERM^EXMSR ² Pedersen founded the Oslo Chamber Choir in her native Norway in 1984 and has since gained international renown for her masterful interpretations and powerful conducting style. Interestingly, she is also a former professional soccer player.
